Cheakamus Centre provides the ideal natural forest setting to begin your happily ever after. Whether you are looking for a modern indoor wedding venue or a majestic outdoor backdrop surrounded by the forest canopy, you will find what you are looking for on our extensive ecological preserve located in a true pacific northwest forest setting.
The Regional District operates one arena with an NHL size ice surface. The facility hosts activities such as adult recreational hockey, minor hockey, figure skating, learn-to-skate programs, public shinny and public skating from September – March. The arena also supplies the Broughton Curling Rink with the coolant required to operate their programs.
The Red hall has a beautiful 30 foot vaulted ceiling and has a 200 person occupancy with a kitchen facility, 2 washrooms , 8 carved wood benches, 150 chairs, 7 rectangular tables, stage, large 12′ movie screen, piano, acoustic panel treatments and parking.
