The major facility operated by the Parks and Recreation Department is the Jim Kook Recreation Complex; known as the “Rec Plex” and is situated at the SE corner of Town. The Rec Plex is a modern, multi-purpose arena with an attached four sheet curling rink facility which is a great option for young families looking for a less expensive youth/teen sport in the growing community.

Excellent facility with hockey, curling and bowling.
Fun place to hang out and skate in winter but most kids don’t follow the rule of “no pucks or sticks on the ice during public skate”.
Playing hockey and we drove here as it said public skating! Pucks flying stick all over the place very hard to skate drove. 50 miles very disappointed in outlook
Didn’t win the 50/50 but enjoyed the game. I also enjoyed watching the children having a great time. It was sure fun, good people!
If you go here make sure it is when the Unity Lazers are in town. They put on a clinic for the opposing players.
