This was a beautiful location for our Neice’s smaller wedding in the country. We loved every minute!
The hosts and staff were absolutely wonderful. The scenery is magical, like something out of a story book. There were two teenage staff on hand at all times to assist us and were very sweet. They took good care of us and were careful to make sure that I didn’t accidentally step in a swampy area in my nice shoes. I loved that we could see the stars at night and listen to frogs. We will definitely book this venue again for a party or family get together. The owners made their home welcoming and cozy so it felt like our home away from home. Mi casa es tu casa!

This venue is not properly equipped to host weddings or similar events. Male guests were told to use the woods as washroom facilities, and there were no adequate restroom options available. Guests were required to park at a nearby community centre and rely on shuttle transportation, as there is no on-site parking. Women wearing high heels were specifically instructed to stay off the grass, limiting mobility and comfort. Lighting was inadequate for an evening event, creating safety and accessibility concerns. Overall, the venue lacks the basic infrastructure and accommodations required for a wedding.

Mountain Sky Estate in Mission, BC is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, Toby and Larissa made us feel completely welcomed and cared for. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. The property itself is breathtaking—lush, serene, and thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural beauty of the area. Every moment felt like a dream, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. If you’re looking for a place that blends elegance with heart, this is it. Thank you, Toby and Larissa, for creating such a special space and sharing it so generously.

This is quite a picturesque location in the Miracle Valley, about 15km north of central Mission BC. My artist group — the 5th Avenue Artists — was sponsored by Mountain Sky Estate, to host a Mother’s Day Tea & Paint event recently. The grounds were very tidy and filled with interesting plants (many of which were in bloom at this time). There is a lovely bridge over water and mountains which seem so close. I got a lot of great shots of my mom & daughter, and more references to paint from too.

The studio has a garage door which was lifted to make it such a comfortable extension of our outdoor experience. Inside, there were ample tables & chairs, a kitchenette, washroom. It’s a well-designed flex space with a wall bed in a cabinet (for an overnight stay), and a mirror ball on the ceiling (for a dance floor)!

The owner-proprietor lives in the log house with his family — He made himself accessible to us, often taking care of his garden and occasionally checking in to see what we needed. The afternoon was a real pleasure. Hope to be back to paint again! I would recommend Mountain Sky Estate for any event which calls for a uniquely beautiful, comfortable and convenient event venue close to nature.
