My Father, Winston Michael Cooke, was a member of this club from way back in the 80’s to 2006.

As such when I was a child I got access to one of the finest views of the Lake. We would come down and watch the dragon boat races, the kayak races, and general swimming.

We also had a private sand beach!

I remember that the top floor had a shuffle board setup on the eastern wall. As well as both a taxidermied Snowy Owl and a Great Horned Owl.

If only membership could be inherited, because I would have loved to keep It going for myself and my future family.

Had our wedding ceremony here on the grass. Joel was super helpful and accommodating during the lead up and event. Easy going and professional. Flexible – all good things.

A venerable Dartmouth club available for event rentals. Beautiful view of Lake Banook with balcony. I’ve attended wedding receptions, birthday parties, and Celebrations of Life there.

Our friend hosted a birthday party here, and it was great location with a great view of lake Banook!

We booked for our wedding. Joel was the absolute best. Incredible communication and super flexible.
