Hosted our 67 person wedding reception here. It’s such a beautiful space with so much local history! It comes with plenty of tables and chairs but we opted to rent cutlery and glassware- since it’s a community hall the total quantities can sometimes change and things can be slightly mismatched. But we used their plate ware and managed to get all matching. The only downside of this venue is the outhouses- we tried to make them a bit nicer with fresh lavender, towels and sawdust to put down the chute but unfortunately one of the outhouses started leaking through the floorboards while in use- it was a bit of a mess!!
This hall also has a community water well that locals come and use at all hours, so just to be aware if you host a private event that you may still have locals coming by to get water (and possibly use the bathroom).
Regardless I would still highly recommend this venue if you are down to embrace the rustic salt spring experience!

Very rustic. No cell service. Nice banquet hall, but no A/C on a very hot a 32C day….phew 🥵

This is a lovely hall. One of the prettiest on Salt Spring. We had our wedding here and couldn’t be happier. It fit 50 people easily even with room for dancing. The pit toilets were actually not too bad considering it was middle of July. We loved our wedding and wished we could do it all over again at Beaver Point Hall.

Decent venue with a fair bit of chairs and tables. Sucks if the anticipated people coming are not from Fulford area as it’s a bit out of the way if coming from town or north island
