Excellent museum my 4yr old and 7yr old loved it. Admission is by donations, and way cheaper then other museums. So much to see and experience. Would recommend and definitely going to make a return a return visit.

Excellent if you love airplanes! Tour the inside of a Lancaster, sit in one of the snowbirds, maybe learn about the dambuster bombing runs.
Got the opportunity to see the restoration hangar and meet some of the people working to restore the historical aircrafts.

Very cool place. Lots of history. On Saturday the shop is open and they are working on the planes. Definitely not something you see everyday.

Bomber Command Museum located in amazing little town of Nanton, Alberta. It is a must see! They restore and bring back to life many historic aircraft mainly from WWII. The star of the show is the Lancaster bomber where Carl likes to say “let’s convert some gasoline to noise” and fired up the four V12 Rolls Royce Merlin engines! Spectacular to see and hear! They are also working on rebuilding a Halifax bomber. While at the museum please take a moment to remember the brave men who fought for our freedom at the Memorial wall. Also, I’d like to thank Zarchary for showing me the restoration shop and the work that was being done. Admission is by donation and every dollar helps to keep the museum. So much important history!

This was such an experience for us, though from the US, we enjoyed learning from another country’s perspective about military use and history of war. Muldoon (hopefully didn’t botched the name too bad) was knowledgeable and my son thoroughly enjoyed the conversations. Thank you so much❤️
