The manager of this place just came out and viciously yelled at me with no warning at all. Saying get out now and get your dog.
I’ve been told since moving here that the rink was allowed for dogs when not in use by hockey etc. Therefore I received no notice that my dog was not allowed anymore. She stated they have been trying to flood the place to get ready for filling of the rink which I TOTALLY understand and left with no problem. But the fact that she came out so rude to me when I had no prior notice was so awful and has left me feeling upset. I’m a respectful person and would have never complained if she came out and explained the situation to me.ALSO, I’ve even been going around cleaning up everyone else’s dog poop that’s been left behind to keep it as nice an environment as I can on a DAILY basis. I won’t be doing that any longer. I wonder how a person with such terrible manners and disposition became the manager of a public facility.
Perfect place for small gatherings/parties, the park is really nice too(beach side all over the park ground). We celebrated our son’s 2nd birthday here and everything worked really well. Lindsay was really co-operative with us!! They have tables, chairs and clean hall.
Nice playground and sports fields. Parking is limited though if there are multiple games
Just moved in nearby and went to go play tennis in the nice park setting. And the lady at the Community Centre was friendly and helpful. Not the best courts but not the worst. Had a good time and would go again. There’s even walking trails and splash park nearby too so lots to do
Great level entry. perfect for a small gathering birthday or large meeting. 75 people or less. Nice clean chairs and tables. New modern decor. Some natural light. Great parking.
