My fiancé and I held our 60- person wedding at the Opera House. We were at first a bit uncertain due to the size and the 10 pm cutoff, but the coziness, price tag and amenities of the place pushed us to book it. We are so happy we did! The size was perfect, Wakana was amazing to work with, and we loved being able to use the side lawn for our cocktail hour. After 10, we just went to the Pub to continue the party, which was a great excuse for the ones who don’t like to dance to go back to their hotels. We would definitely recommend booking the Opera House for your event!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our outdoor wedding ceremony at the Canmore Opera House, and it was truly a dream come true. The venue itself is gorgeous – the perfect mix of rustic charm and mountain elegance.

A huge thank you to Wakana, who was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was organized, responsive, and ensured everything ran smoothly, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a breathtaking and well-managed venue in Canmore, I cannot recommend the Opera House enough! It exceeded all our expectations and gave us memories we will cherish forever.

This is a wonderful place to hold an event. Moya was extremely helpful. We held an open house before the big wedding day and it was perfect. The facility is clean and cozy. We had many comment on what a wonderful spot it was. As long as you are not looking for a late night party this is a great spot. Due to the residential area, closing time is early! Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

A beautiful little building tucked away at the end of a driveway. Its grandiose name adds a lot to its charm and quaint look. The first time I laid eyes on it, I imagined an opera singer conquering the wilderness of Western Canada in the late 19th century, but this opera house is mostly used as a community center.
