We used it as a wedding venue. It worked perfectly for our kids needs. They hosted better than 200 people. Grounds were well maintained and there would have been 30 to 40 campers there with room for many more. No hookups.

We rented Cardiff Community Hall for our wedding venue early August this year.
Our original wedding date was set was for August 2020 but due to the covid pandemic and lock downs/social distancing we were unable to proceed at the time. Bill (who manages the rentals of the hall) was more than willing to help us out and move our date a year ahead to when we had high hopes things would be back to normal. As our new date in 2021 quickly approached and there was no end in sight of the pandemic yet my husband and i made the decision to reach out one more time to Bill and see if we could yet again extend our deposit and rental date so we didn’t have to sacrifice the wants for our special day. This request was kindly met once again and we couldn’t be more thankful. Through our whole process (and with extra added obstacles) we had such an easy time dealing with deposits, hall visits for decorating inspiration, tons of emails for clarifications or questions on things we couldn’t remember from our initial deposit and contract signing 3 years previous. Bill answered every silly question we had and really helped make sure we remembered all the requirements we needed to pull off our event. The hall itself is beautifully spacious with tons of room for a larger event if needed and the full kitchen is a dream. Whether you decide to have caterers for your event or go half and half like we did and used it to make a few dishes to accompany our dinner, you’ll be more than happy with the amenities provided. We held our ceremony on the ball diamond closest to the camping area and the outdoor maintenance of the fields was nicely done and trimmed up shortly before our event. We had expected more of our guests to take advantage of the large camping area and bring trailers/tents, however with gas prices as high as they have been quite a few of our guests changed their minds and opted for a room at a hotel we blocked rooms off at. The camping area is huge and can most definitely accommodate a large amount of trailers if your looking to use this option which we were very happy to do so after a long night of dancing and socializing.
The golf course and public park across the street are easily accessible and has some real gem spots for pictures. There’s a really nice pond and a couple little clearings we spent a few hours at doing formals and couldn’t have asked for a prettier backdrop.
I highly recommend Cardiff Community Hall. Thank you again Bill for helping us have the wedding we dreamed of.

We attended a Celebration of Life here. The hall is large, the stage and sound system quite adequate for the room, and the service was a lovely reminder of a life well lived.
