We have attended several gatherings in the Cavallotti Hall. We couldn’t ask for a more pleasant place to gather once you are inside. However, I am handicapt & use a wheelchair. The “ramp” is poorly designed at the rear of the building. While you are fixing the ramp please consider a different light fixture at the rear of the building…very poor lighting. How about a ramp at the front where there are presently 2 walk-in entries. Three stars at the moment.
My mom had a surprise retirement party there. It’s a great venue to rent for almost any occasion. It even has a full kitchen with a full set of dishes, multiple fridges, and a restaurant quality dishwasher. It also has a bar. I was the bartender for the event, and after stocking the fridges with alcohol it was a more than adequate service area. It also already has enough fold-up tables and chairs to ensure that your event can be set up any way you like. Not sure how much it cost to rent, but I was very surprised at how well equipped it was.
A bit old-fashioned. Pretty basic, but nice. They have a decent-sized indoors area, ideal for conferences and larger group meetings, etc.
From what I recall, they also had their own mini kitchen. Not sure if the staff / kitchen offers meals, but I believe you’re able to clean your buffet platters etc. after the meeting / whatever is over.
It’s a community center owned and operated by Italian community for catering for their community. However as a friendly group they also offer this facility for other community or group events also. It’s an old nice big hall with a decent size of stage at the end. Plenty of parking available, easy to notice on Wellington road right after going through underpass of highway 19
We were there for a memorial service for Bruce Erickson. Arrived 15 minutes early and couldn’t get close enough to sign the book until after the service and some people had left, they had set up a speaker out side. Much appreciated. We just signed and went home.
