Built in 1869, the Cedar Grove Schoolhouse replaced an earlier log schoolhouse built on the site. The building is a particularly well preserved example of the one room schoolhouse of the Victorian era. Today it is owned by the Town of Markham and is used as a community centre.

It’s a great place for staff suppers and and other events, well kept and has so much history as a school house established in 1805
Such a quaint place to have an event. We held an 80th party there and everyone loved it. Very accommodating
