Champlain Community Centre is like the Swiss Army knife of fun—there’s something for everyone, and somehow it all works perfectly. I came in expecting a regular community centre and ended up feeling like I’d stumbled into a festival run by very organized, extremely friendly humans.
The staff are so helpful that I half-expected them to offer life advice along with gym memberships. The facilities are spotless, the programs are fun, and the vibe is “we take fun seriously but in a friendly, non-judgy way.” I briefly considered moving in permanently, but the janitor gave me a sympathetic look and I figured that wasn’t allowed.
Bonus points: the echo in the gym makes your claps feel like a standing ovation, which is great for morale. Highly recommend if you want to exercise, socialize, or just feel like part of a very well-run, very cheerful community.
10/10, would come back, possibly bringing a marching band to celebrate.
Amazing community amenities with a resilient staff hosting constant events!
Nice little community centre with a lot of seating for late night games. Wasn’t much room to warm up. Canteen was open which was a huge plus, gym floors were not too shabby, didn’t give a 5 star because it wasn’t amazing above and beyond.
I will not come to Toyota and Mcphillips again for any services because they don’t want to take responsibilities for their action, I have pictures and everything when you guys fixed my tire you grind it down too much now it’s unfixable and it’s still losing her. I have to get a brand new tire. It is your responsibility if you grind it down too much to replace it. I will also send you pictures.
I’m getting the tire fixed at Fountain Tire because nobody’s taking responsibility for their action
So Toyota Mcphillips costed me $75 to repair it direct a tire now I have to get a new tire for $380 $455 I lost because Toyota Mcphillips didn’t do it properly
The wading pool was open. Obviously all filters were working properly. Life guard was attentive. My great grandchildren (aged 4 and 1) enjoyed the play structures, sandbox and swings. The playground area was covered with splinter-free wood mulch, which provides a soft, clean surface for kids of all ages. All trash was in trash cans.
A sign beside the gate reminds pet owners to use a leash and clean up after their pets. It appeared that this is regularly obeyed. There were many benches and a few picnic tables.
