I often see dog owners completely disregarding city bylaws — letting their dogs run off-leash, even inside playgrounds. I’ve called 311 and 911 about it, and I really hope the City steps in to patrol these areas and remind those irresponsible owners that playgrounds are meant for children, not dogs.

Small park area situated at the bottom of Mount Royal, east side. Its really nice in the summer. Usually doesn’t get too busy either.

Great playground with fun climbing. Wear those tykes out running up and down the stairs and hill.

Best Community Association in all of Calgary – great monthly events like Jazz Night (local jazz artists, great venue, exception price) and Board Game Night. Community driven and run by an exceptional volunteer group. If you live in the ‘hood and are looking for a volunteering fix, this could be it! Check them out at their Spring Fling fund raiser in April or their Neighbour Day event, Mission Possible, in June. You won’t be disappointed!
