We got married at Compass Rose in October and it was the most magical day. The venue is gorgeous on a large property that is so thoughtfully maintained by the owners. The accommodations on site are beautiful and the bridal suite is amazing. We had our ceremony in the meadow, reception in the barn and dinner in the greenhouse (which was so beautiful and the thing that drew us to Compass Rose originally).

The partnered vendors that Compass Rose provided are incredible (Karin as our officiant, Hawley Crescent for food and decor) and it made the wedding planning process so simple and stress free. On the day of the team at Compass Rose alongside Hawley Crescent handled every aspect of the event perfectly.

Caroline is very thoughtful and kind and was super easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and during our initial venue visit. Jeremiah did an amazing job with the bar, curated a wonderful selection of wine, craft beers, etc. and brought our perfect signature cocktails to life! And Nick was awesome with day of coordination, helping us get around the venue for our photos on the golf cart, and helped us the next day with a few things as we packed up, he is too kind!

We cannot recommend Compass Rose enough, our wedding was a dream and even better than we could have ever imagined!

We found Compass Rose Suites on a search for a wedding venue for a small wedding. And boy are we so incredibly happy we did!

We live in Australia, so we had to blindly trust a location and vendor, and Caroline gave us every reason to give them that trust. She worked tirelessly to be flexible so that we could have a digital tour of the venue and both her and Cam made themselves available to answer questions or raise requests whenever we needed to for a full 9 months leading to our special day.

Compass Rose provided a package which included Hawley Crescent as a caterer (They were amazing!) and Weddings by Karin for the Officiant (Also amazing, thank you Bob!). Their selected partners are all phenomenal, there really were no weak points here.

Jeremiah was wonderful during our brief meeting to plan our ‘signature’ drinks, and on the night those drinks went down amazingly. Everyone loved them and spent most of the night going back for more. (We may have emptied the rum and whiskey!)

The venue is magical, everything is well kept and they take very clear pride in operating with professionalism but also with human compassion and care. The house is bloody phenomenal. I’ve never stayed in such a beautiful home – and I may never do so again – it’s on a whole other level, absolutely beautiful.

Two days before our wedding, there was unexpected snow that blanketed the area. Nobody expected it, it was a one-in-fifty year occurrence that nobody could plan for. But, along with HC, Nick and the team pulled through and pivoted with extra heat so we could keep our vision alive. The day wasn’t just magical, it was elevated beyond anything we dreamed. A white wedding was never the plan, but damn these guys pulled it off!

Nick, Cam and Caroline went above and beyond to give us everything we wanted and needed. I honestly believe that there is nowhere else we could have got married that could live up to the fantasy day we had here. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts.

Finally, a special mention for Emily who was our bar tender. We genuinely got constant positive comments about her. Her attitude and demeanor were absolutely wonderful all night. She wasn’t just working the event, she felt like she fit in with the group. She was down to earth and friendly, but she was also responsible when she had to put her foot down. We couldn’t have asked for better.

If you’re looking for a place to get married or just throw a wonderful event, this place will tick all your boxes and the people behind it will make the day better than you can imagine.

We got married at Compass Rose in 2020 during the pandemic, and it’s held a special place in our hearts ever since. Cam warmly welcomed us back for our 5-year anniversary, and we loved showing our kids the venue. The stunning landscapes, modern accommodations, and cozy atmosphere are unbeatable. We’re also obsessed with the bathtub and full chef’s kitchen! Can’t wait to return in another five years!

I had my dream wedding here in June 2024 and my guests and I were so impressed with this space! Me and my husband couldn’t have imagined a better place in prince Edward county to get married and the owners went above and beyond to help me make my dreams come true. I didn’t have to add much decor for my garden themed wedding because the grounds are gorgeous already and the tent and barn were amazing for my reception areas. The bathrooms were clean and have great mirrors. The house was perfect for getting ready in with my whole gang- and our pictures turned out stunning using the back courtyard and forest backdrop. They also have a gorgeous garden and huge fire pit – this place has a lot of great photo opportunities. The forest ceremony site was what sold me. It was absolutely breathtaking with the right amount of shade and sun- beautiful site! The owners were easy to work with and were very informative during my planning process. During set up they made sure everything was the way I wanted it- they were always present when I needed them and were extremely helpful and friendly- would highly recommend Compass rose.

I had the opportunity to be a photographer here recently to shoot a wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning and offers a wide variety of photo opportunities & amenities. They have options to stay at the venue in their different suits. All of which are absolutely beautiful & have the perfect natural lighting for getting ready photos. The venue also offers unique ceremony options such as a forest, greenhouse, barn & tent all of which are decorated differently and elegantly. I was able to stay in town which is located 15 mins away from the venue and the town had cute shops to visit & delicious local eateries.

The venue co owner Nick was so amazing to work with, went above and beyond for the couple & the vendors working there as well. Nick was present all day & was super hands on with anything anyone needed. Showing me around for photo opportunities & also being quick on the draw when something wasn’t working quite right. I highly recommend staying here or getting married here. I hope to work here again soon
