Attended poker game last night. What a disappointment to find that the game was rigged. The man running the show announced NO RE-BUYS at the start, then when his buddy gets knocked out he allows him a re-buy. When people complain he says “ I’ll take the heat”. Well ok then, see how you like that heat when you get reported to the Gaming Policy Enforcement Branch. Clown.

Great space for local events. Lots of parking. Tennis court on the west side with bleachers. Big grassy area behind.

Hall seats 200, big stage, clean and bright throughout, large kitchen, paved free parking

But this Hall is absolutely incredible. Beautiful space on the inside with a large stage and big wooden dance floor.

This quaint and unimposing small community hall is the heart of the Deroche community. The hall is used on alternate Wednesday evenings by the Sasquatch Lions club, and on Mondays one can play whist and crib in the evenings for a nominal fee with complimentary tea and coffee. The clean, well-lit hall offers plentiful parking, renovated, modern kitchen facilities, a small stage, and tables and chairs. Community Hall bookings are managed by the local Sasquatch Lions club.
