As a wedding photographer, Eglinton West Gallery is a great venue for couples who want a location that offers everything in one place.
Even though it may not seem obvious at first, the venue provides plenty of photo opportunities. One of the biggest highlights is the rooftop. It’s perfect for portraits, especially if you want open space, clean lines, and a city feel without distractions.
Inside, there are several different areas that work well for photography, allowing for a good mix of images throughout the day.
The layout helps the day flow smoothly, from ceremony to reception, while still leaving room for quiet moments and portraits in between.
It’s a solid choice for couples who want a relaxed wedding day and visually interesting images right in the city.

We truly had a fantastic experience working with EWG for our wedding. Frances was professional and kind and a pleasure to work through the planning with. The team was accommodating of our vision and allowed us to bring in whatever we needed to make the day feel like our own. We kept our decor pretty minimal because the venue speaks for itself. It was the only space we saw because it checked every box – beautiful and rustic venue, string lights and plenty of locations to take photos, a bridal suite with a safe, and a convenient location with plenty of parking for our guests.

One of my best friends had his wedding here. It was a two-day wedding because a traditional one followed on the second day. We were so tired afterward 😂 Everything went perfect on both days. The space was divided so that they could have the ceremony and reception there. We had so much fun and the staff was super diligent.

I recently filmed a wedding for the first time at EWG and was very impressed. The venue is spacious, featuring two beautifully designed banquet halls. The elegant decor and thoughtful layout provided a stunning backdrop for the event. The staff were professional and accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

From a filmmaker’s perspective, the lighting is low so better to bring your own lights to capture high-quality footage. The outdoor areas were equally picturesque, perfect for capturing memorable moments. Overall, EWG is an outstanding venue for weddings and events, and I look forward to working there again.

We just held an event at the Eglinton West Gallery. The venue is beautiful – large, spacious, and immaculate. We had a marketplace in the front room, with a panel and speaker discussion in the larger space. There was excellent room for people to shop and venture in the front, as well as the main room. The staff at Eglinton West Gallery are some of the kindness people I have worked with. All exceptionally nice and warm, willing to help, and ensure everything was able to run perfectly and effortlessly. The team in charge are beyond generous with their time and help. Without question would run to work with them again as the process was simple and without any stress. What a wonderful group of people!! Truly.
