We just had our ceremony and reception at Fort Gibraltar on August 14, 2025 and we cannot recommend this venue enough.
From the management to the food to everything else, we can honestly say our day was absolutely perfect!

Look no further for the ultimate wedding venue! Connie and her team are incredible and take care of everything for you (food, DJ, entertainment, table numbers, linens, etc). The tasting was delicious. Connie dealt with all the day of details so there was no stress involved – she even arranged the train of my dress before I walked down the aisle! Our guests were surprised by a musket salute and hatchet throwing/big games. No one will leave your wedding hungry, most people had no room for dessert. Everyone left happy.

Great place. I live in Thunder Bay, which has the other historical park, was very educational, and the guys who work there make the experience much more realistic.

My Mom, Grandmother & I went here for Mothers Day High Tea. We all enjoyed the experience and would love to attend another event like this in the future. Very unique event. The attention to detail was great. I loved the china that was used and the decor it was very authentic feeling. All the food was delicious and the service was prompt. The “MOM” photo station/display outdoors was a great addition. Thank you again for the lovely experience, what a great way to celebrate Mothers Day.

Great place for history! Blacksmith shop is awesome! Festival du Voyageur!! Great venue to celebrate my French-Canadian/Acadian heritage. The gun battle between the French and English is awesome too. Love the ice sculptures and the addition of the wood carvers is great!
