The service was amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, the table setting was beautiful…..but the menu/food was scrumptious and the wine/beverages were tasty and enjoyable. The entire menu is gluten free, which is almost unheard of.
Our family Christmas Eve celebration was so very special.

We celebrated a birthday get-together at The German Cultural Center, Continental Treat put on a wonderful meal which was enjoyed by all especially focusing on gluten free & vegan which some of our guests really appreciated. Our meals were homestyle European and delicious, the black forest cake is amazing!
We had a separate spacious room set up nicely for our guests and staff went over & above. Definitely will be back, all the best in your new location Continental Treat! : )

We had a church gathering and we did have a wonderful time. Excellent decorations and great selection of buffets.Servers are excellent and . Bathrooms were clean.

NEW HOME OF BEST EUROPEAN GF RESTAURANT IN EDMONTON ‘ CONTINENTAL TREAT! GO TEAM! Truly they are pros! Best GF Germanic Eastern Europe food I have every had in Edmonton! I am NOT old nor dead as other reviews claim! Continental Treat has had 45yr very successful Whyte Ave restaurant and banquets facilities. Recently they got brunt of development greed who priced them out of longtime locations. Including City Hall right before election. FYI They do not know me at all. I am not anyone related. Just an EXCITED LT client who is JOYFUL they found another location that is affordable! I just heard they got shaft at old hardware grill building downtown by city hall last minute then miraculously found this. SUPPORT LONG TIME EDMONTON FAMILY RESTAURANT! ❤️

Great location for small or large gatherings, like birthdays or weddings. They are very accommodating. Room and facility is a bit dated but they are working on that. Definitely worth checking out if you are in need of a space for an event.
