A cute little campground, around 19 sites. One side seems to be almost all full timers. Was clean and quiet. Bathrooms were clean, water pressure in the showers was amazing. It’s $1 for 5 minutes, well worth it. We visited on October 20th and the water to the sites was already turned off. Nice day use area and tenting area. Self registration, I believe the most expensive site was $35/night. It is close to train tracks so you will be woken up around 2am. Dump station too. Cost of $2 to empty and $2 to fill fresh water. Honour system. Excellent overnight stop!
This place is a great campground. A little hidden gem. The people that run this place are amazing. Great location, it is close to Taber. I was working in the area. Definitely will come back.
Excellent campground with top notch bathrooms and a reasonable rate for tenting (10$). The only negative thing was that someone, who I am guessing was the host, drove up in a white vehicle and accused us of trying to camp there for free right off the bat. We had been there roughly 10 minutes and were setting up before the rain started (which it did about 20 minutes later). I had already put 10$ in a registration envelope and had it on the table. I showed the host the envelope when she had said “Are you tenting? You know it’s not free” in a unfriendly manner. She was nice after that and after we told her we were cycling across Canada. However, this interaction honestly made us feel a little uneasy for the two nights we stayed because it didn’t start off as welcoming. With that in mind (and aside) I would say definitely stay here, it’s a great campground and nice quiet little town.
Amazing little campground. Very clean and bathrooms are super clean and the showers are magnificent.
1$ for shower and u get 10 mins of great shower pressure. Will be back.
We came in on a Monday of a long weekend and lots of “local” RVs left around 3pm leaving the place wide open for others. Max 30 amp service. Some sites just had a regular 110 outlet. Looked like nice tenting area. I didn’t check the washroom. The sites are not that level but it is a nice quiet underused campground. Pay exact cash in a provided envelope after you choose your site and drop it in the lock box, on the honour system. Small local restaurant within walking distance.
