I had a great experience at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for the U of A graduation ceremony. The venue was spacious and very clean, and the staff were professional and helpful in guiding guests to the correct floor and seats. The overall organization felt smooth, which made the day less stressful and more enjoyable.
A nice bonus is that you can buy drinks, flowers, and even plush toys on-site, which is convenient for celebrating right after the ceremony without needing to leave the building.
The only drawback was the filming policy. Once the ceremony started, there seemed to be limited flexibility to step out of your seat, which made it a bit difficult for guests who wanted to adjust where they were recording from.
All in all, it was a good graduation experience in a well-run, welcoming venue, with just a small downside in terms of filming restrictions.
You can follow the schedule of their performances on their website. A great place to develop culturally. There are many bar counters where you can buy yourself drinks or snacks. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I liked the place of the photo zone and how happy it was for the children to be photographed with the ballet participant! It was great! Also, if you came to the performance, parking was free!
It was a magnificent performance that captivated us. The auditorium was spacious, and everyone could see and hear everything. Thanks.
We saw the Nutcracker ballet. The show was amazing, I highly recommend it. But I believe a review on the facility would be more appropriate for this posting. The parking is easily marked and accessible. Bathrooms are easily found and very clean. Prices for snacks and drinks are high, but not higher than industry standards so you’re getting a bit ripped off but no more than at any other facility of the like. Staff are all so obliging, friendly and helpful. It’s very easy to figure out where you’re going to find your correct seats. Seats are very comfortable and there’s more legroom than you’d expect. I’ve enjoyed every visit to the Jubilee.
Was a shitty show. Couldn’t see Josh Ross preform at all. Event is for people to be seated. Everyone for Josh Ross was standing, which was blocking people’s views of the stage. You couldnt even tell there was a stage there. Very disappointed with this venue last night!!!! You could hear Ross sing which was good. But you couldnt see him at all. If I could give a lower review with the stars I definitely would be. So 1 single star is all that is possible to give. This venue needs to get the shit together!!! Employee shoved the door so hard, it would have broken someone’s fingers. The door was shoved into a family remembers hands while he was holding drinks. Which were mostly spilt onto the floor. Which they didnt even make the attempt to clean up. Disappointed all the way around for last nights show to see Josh Ross!!!!!!
