We chose the Shawnessy Barn as our wedding reception venue. It was cozy, rustic and the lights at night make it feel so magical. Responses and communication weren’t always prompt and clear at first but Jennifer was patient and had no problem breaking down anything that was misunderstood. She was always kind, caring and professional – Absolute gem of a lady!
We would recommend the space for others events in a heartbeat.

From the glow of taper candles flickering inside glass cylinders to eucalyptus winding softly across tables dressed in ivory and muted blue, every detail feels warm and intentional. The golden chiavari chairs, the gentle sparkle of string lights overhead, the layered glass chargers and delicate place settings — it all creates an atmosphere that feels intimate, relaxed, and beautifully personal.

Outdoors, surrounded by towering evergreens, couples say their vows beneath a floral-draped arch while white chairs line the grass and petals mark the aisle. An unplugged ceremony sign resting beside fresh white blooms invites guests to be fully present — to breathe it in, to witness, to feel.

The patio becomes a natural gathering place, and the cozy reception space inside the barn carries that romance into the evening — candlelight dancing against wood beams, laughter filling the air, and love lingering long after sunset.

We used Shawnessy Barn for our wedding reception venue and it was lovely! It was actually the first venue we visited when we were planning our wedding and it was love at first sight! Such a cozy, rustic feel and the decor lights that came with it were such a huge bonus. Huge shout out to the bartender, Amber. She was so friendly and amazing!

If you’re looking for a smaller venue with a cozy vibe, this is it! The only issue really was communication with the barn management, they’re very slow at getting back you, which can be stressful if you’re planning an event. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic!!

I have photographed a wedding here few times now ( Kathleen’s Diamond Photography )… It is a cute little wedding venue, it is a perfect little spot for photography photos as well… Indoor is a little dark vibe like barn style… Super cute…
