Slovak Legion

The Slovak Legion is well known throughout the community for its charitable and service work and will continue to be an integral member of the city of Thunder Bay. The Slovak Legion is a multi-purpose facility. The Slovak Legion has 3 rooms to suit your needs – the Banquet Hall, Solarium (with Fireplace) and the Boardroom. We can accommodate 20 to 400 people. We are locally renowned for our smorgasbords, pricing and excellent service. Discounts are provided for Non-Profit Organizations!

every Thurs & Fri, 11:30-13:30.

Excellent location near the vintage water front. Thoroughly enjoyed the best traditional buffet in town. Homemade pierogis, hearty beef soup, pasta and meatballs. All quality tasty and perfectly cooked . Great friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

My first time for Slovak foods but it was amazing there foods in the buffet was phenomenal.

I have attended funerals and wedding receptions here, and my high school graduation dinner & dance was held here in 2022. The Slovak Legion hall is a Thunder Bay institution for a reason. Your guests will not leave unhappy or with empty stomachs. Everything is clean, orderly, professionally-run, and well kept.
