We had our wedding at The Cape, and it was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, Elizabeth and Jake were an absolute dream team. They went above and beyond in every possible way to make our special day perfect.

We planned our wedding with only a couple of months notice, and despite the tight timeline, everything came together.

The rooms were stunning, and the entire space is absolutely gorgeous, filled with beautiful light fixtures and thoughtful décor that made every moment feel special. Breakfast was delicious, and one meaningful gesture that they arranged with Merrill House (next door), was for all of us to have breakfast together. It was such a generous, thoughtful accommodation that meant so much to us and our guests.

They consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and we are forever grateful. We will always remember Elizabeth and Jake and The Cape for making our wedding day so unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Nestled in the heart of Picton this beautifully restored mansion is the place to stay when visiting Prince Edward County. From the moment my husband and I arrived at this Boutique Hotel we were blown away. Seriously the photos do not do this place justice….it is absolutely gorgeous!! We stayed in the “Richard Burton Suite” and it was perfection 💗 The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable with high quality linens. There is a mini fridge in the room and it is stocked with a variety of beers and ciders from the local area…. well done!! The real treat is breakfast served each morning at your door… delicious and filling!! The owners put a lot of thought into the “little touches” that definitely stand out compared to other B&B’s.

I highly recommend “The Cape” if you are looking for a romantic getaway, celebrating a special occasion or even a “girl’s weekend”….you will not not be disappointed! The owners go out of their way to make your stay very special and we loved spending our Anniversary trip here 💗 We cannot wait to return

We stayed and hosted our wedding at The Cape over the summer, and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. What first drew us in were the stunning aesthetics and effortlessly chic vibes of the venue. Every space is beautifully designed and perfectly complemented the vision we had for our wedding. It’s such a dream location that planning a beautiful celebration felt almost effortless with a backdrop that gorgeous.

What we didn’t anticipate (and what we’re endlessly grateful for) was the exceptional level of service and care from Jake, Elizabeth, and the entire hospitality team. They didn’t just provide a venue; they became true partners in making our wedding weekend a success. Their attention to detail, warmth, and willingness to help with anything and everything went far beyond our expectations.

Among many things, Jake personally helped my family assemble and disassemble our chuppah structure. Something we never expected but will always appreciate deeply. Elizabeth was incredibly communicative, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. Every question we asked was met with a reassuring, “Yes, we can do that,” or, “Yes, we can help with that,” often accompanied by a great vendor recommendation or creative solution.

Their professionalism, hospitality, and genuine care for their couples are unmatched. The Cape is not only a breathtaking venue, but it’s supported by a team truly dedicated to excellence. We can’t recommend them highly enough , both the space and the people made our wedding unforgettable.
