Myself and a dear friend (whose name I don’t have permission to use) attended the live theatre productions 18 times this summer… we saw each show 6 times and absolutely LOVED the shows each and every time. The music was “of course” totally outstanding… always has been… and the shows were so well cast… serious… funny… no hilarious … cheeky… totally captivating… the costumes period perfect (hems could have been stitched up here and there… shoes kept up), but it definitely didn’t take from the productions. We almost went into mourning each night as the shows closed… like we were losing good friends… who in reality would not even know us.

Been here multiple times. They’re a great small business. Only two complaints: 1) their seating needs an overhaul as it’s very old, cramped, and uncomfortable with no cup holders, and 2) when they play movies, they crank the sound WAY too loud; it’s louder than any other theatre I’ve been to (in several cities across Canada and the USA), to the point that it really ruins the sound quality. It’s loud enough that some community members with hearing aids could easily leave them at home!

We just saw The Little Mermaid and Little Women at Carriage House Theatre. Loved them both but Little Mermaid was our favorite! The singing, dancing and choreography was amazing!! It was fun and entertaining and so well cast. Loved it!!

I love the Carriage House Theatre. They do live theatre throughout the summer and several productions in the winter and spring as well. There is a depth of talent and experience that results in a very high level of production. Several plays are produced in the summer and alternate so patrons can see a play then attend a different play the next night.
They run movies when not staging plays. The digital movies with Dolby sound give a top quality movie experience with a friendly small-town atmosphere. It’s within walking distance of the local campground.

Great show (Oklahoma), the theater is somewhat like the Rosebud theatre in Rosebud, Alberta. Would I go again you bet.
It was a very warm night after a very hot day, and when we exited the theater the cast we’re lined up on the side walk to meet and greet the patrons as they left. A water mist was also being sprayed on the sidewalk to cool things down…..we we’re experiencing record breaking heat.
We live in Lethbridge and it was well worth the 45 minute drive.
The theater seating is very comfortable as is the entire theater. Snacks are available.
Looking forward to next time.
