A nice village to see. I visited here in August (albeit early in the morning). It has been hard to find parking during the day when I have tried to visit in the past. A nice place though (and the Quidi Vidi brewery is also nearby)
This is the wharf for the old fishing village at Quidi Vidi. The coastline is pegged with numerous fishing cottages. And this is also where the local authorities re-introduced Salmon back to the waters here. Overall, a quaint village with a brewery, artist retreats, and tour operators.
We stopped by here after having dinner at the brewery and ice cream at the Sweet Spot.
They are picnic tables setup for people to hang out and enjoy their food. It is a very picturesque setting with the colourful boats and houses by the water.
There is an interesting fish sculpture and it’s a good place to chill out. The best thing about it is the water, boats and colourful houses.
Great local spot and perfect for tourists. Parking is hard to find but get there early. Great to watch the tide come and go. Lots of local food trucks and local washrooms. Sit at one of the benches for lunch.
Super cute but very small. Lots of good vendors. Come for lunch. Parking is a little tight but you can find spots.
