I had to pleasure of photographing a wedding here last fall and was impressed by what I saw!

The venue itself is beautiful and minimal at the same time. Nothing overbearing, but more simply elegant with a very large hall that can accommodate hundreds of people.

The staff working the venue was also great. Kept the food and drinks coming in a timely manner and were right on top of my and other guests requests. My clients also told me they were so glad they chose Tosca on a friend’s recommendation.

Last but not least – their food was incredible! Big taste and even bigger portions! Hoping I find myself working at this venue again soon because I simply need more of their beef in my life.

Definitely worth a look if you’re looking for wedding/events venues!

Attended a wedding at this venue and it was beautiful inside! The space was large enough to accommodate the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception comfortably. The staff were friendly, personable and attentive while the food and drinks were also really great! All in all, it is a great environment and was the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful evening filled with fun, food and friends/family! Plenty of parking!

The place is pretty nice and good looking. We had a marriage in this restaurant and everything went fine. The only pain point was the attitude of the waiters, who were understaffed and under a lot of pressure.
The back yard is really nice and they have a cute garden. It’s good for organizing events.

I had the opportunity to attend a wedding here. It was an incredible experience! The staff were very friendly, the main indoor room was very pretty, and the food was delicious!

I was most recently here for a wedding in June 2022. It’s a really great little banquet hall. The coordinators and wait staff are very nice and hard working. The outdoor ceremony is west facing which is good to keep in mind in terms of ceremony photos and guest comfort. It can get really hot and the harsh light can make everyone squint. As a wedding photographer, I would recommend a later ceremony time so that the lighting is beautiful and flattering. I love the new renos that they’ve done inside. Modern and pretty! It has a bunch of nearby photo locations such as Oshawa Botanical Gardens, Thickson’s Point, Pumphouse Marsh and Lakeview Park. I’s also convenient for guests travelling from further away as it’s right off of the 401.
