One of the newer community centres in Vancouver. There’s a decent sized parking lot, a nearby playground for children, an ice rink, baseball field, indoor basketball court, rooms for arts and crafts, a piano room, and fitness centre just to name a few. There is no swimming pool, however, it seems there is a steam room. It tends to get busy here regardless of the time of day. The fitness centre has a variety of machines, including cardio machines, cable machines, some stretch machines, etc.
I went to Trout Lake Community Centre recently to check out the pool and fitness area, and it was a really good experience. When I walked in the space felt clean and well cared for, and it was easy to find the desk to check in without confusion.
After the gym, I went to the pool. The water was clear and warm, and the lanes were marked well. I could swim without bumping into anyone, and there were lifeguards keeping an eye out so it felt safe. The change rooms were clean and had good showers, which made it easy to freshen up after.
My dog Ziggy is always seen promptly and with the utmost care/sweetness. Plan/rationale is always logical and reasonable, and my personal preferences are always respected. Ziggy is doing much better on his medications and sometimes I forget he will soon be 17 years old. Dr Sran genuinely loves animals and his dedication to self improvement when none is really needed is refreshing and so humble. It’s hard to find a vet with these characteristics, so we are so grateful for everyone involved in ziggys care. Tysm! Ziggy has had many caring techs, even when he barked for multiple hours straight in holding for iv fluids. All personalle involved should feel proud of their contribution The genuine care for animals
The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there’s a good range of programs offered throughout the year, from fitness and recreational activities to community events. Being right next to Trout Lake is a big bonus. You can easily combine a visit to the centre with a walk around the lake or time at the park, which makes the whole area feel lively and connected.
One of the best view community centre in Vancouver. It locates in the Trout Lake.
The whole area is pretty in fall. The centre is nice and well kept. The building is pretty especial in fall. There are a rink and fitness centre. They have many art programs too.
