Some time ago we renovated the washrooms in the Community Centre. I returned today to adjust a faucet that was not working properly. The renovation turned out quite well. Enjoy.

This is such a well equipped community center for such a small town. Skating rink, curling, pool, gym, squash/volleyball/badminton court, pickleball, and an indoor jungle gym for little kids. Reasonably priced, is also attached to the town’s library. Highly recommend checking it out, it is very impressive.

The community center in Tumbler Ridge serves as a focal point for families with young children. It encompasses a public library, a swimming pool, and a daycare facility staffed by experienced and caring professionals. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoy spending time at each of these venues. The center offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, we often participate in teaching bystander CPR and BCEHS recruitment here. There are many arts and crafts sales by local artists and so much more. A skating rink, hickey tournaments for kids and youth, drop in skating, figure skating and a curling club in the fall and winter, as well as a summer reading program. These diverse offerings cater to individuals seeking active engagement during all seasons. The knowledgeable library staff stands ready to provide valuable information on the most enjoyable and enriching experiences available in this remote community.

Had a great experience learning how to make moccasins. The instructor was awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable. She even gave me some extra help, one on one. Not only did I learn about aboriginal culture, but it was also a pleasure to meet other members of the community and hear about their lives.
