The Dufrost community hall was renovated in the mid 1990’s. It proudly speaks of the Ukrainian heritage of many families still living in this small community.

Our hall is newly renovated with affordable rates and can support many types of functions, up to a maximum of 200 people.

The Dundurn Community Hall is a great place to hold gatherings big and small. Weddings, birthdays, family gatherings and more, the Dundurn Community Hall can accommodate you at affordable prices.

This hall was an important centre for the community’s summer residents, serving as a venue for dances, lectures, teas, and church services. It is similar in construction to the traditional Lake Winnipeg cottages, with a frame construction and gable front. The verandah section at the front entrance is a later addition, and the kitchen cupboards may date to the 1940s.

The timeless design of Tudor Revival style meets modern entertainment centre in Dwight Hall, an entertainment venue which has served Powell River residents and guests since 1927. The interior boasts the original arched ceilings, recessed wood panel walls, and seemingly endless windows which let in the natural light.

The Dymond Community Hall is a wheelchair accessible hall that can accommodate up to 160 people.
