This section of our barn is available for rent 8 months of the year. A cozy spot for a private gathering of 40 to 50 family, friends or co-workers. There is ample space for live entertainment for a more intimate feel.

For 100 years, the Gabriola Island Community Hall has been used for weddings, funerals, dances, polling stations, sports, meetings and celebrations of all kinds.

The Community Hall is a hub of the Galiano community and many of our local events are held there on an ongoing basis. It is also a favourite place for concerts, dances, weddings, plays, exhibitions, etc. The kitchen has been newly renovated with convection ovens, industrial sinks, counters and cupboards and all manner of conveniences, and we’re quite proud of it.

The “Big Log House” can accommodate 185 people. There are two spacious side lofts for your viewing convenience, which can provide the perfect vantage point for cataloging the memorable
moments of any occasion.

The Gardiner Mines Community Hall, is available for fundraisers, private parties, wedding or baby showers, etc. The Community Hall is equipped with bar and kitchen facilities, tables, chairs audio-video equipment and parking included.
