The Mount Elizabeth Theatre is Kitimat’s home for the performing arts. The Community Centre is the heart of village life and hosts a wide variety of community events including ceilidhs, theatre productions, concerts, the farmer’s market, and fundraisers. The Centre features meeting, activity, and reception space, kitchen facilities, and a stage and green room. Facilities may be rented for half- or full-day events such as receptions, seminars/classes, or meetings. Alcohol is permitted with a valid permit and a licensed bartender/server.

The Nackawic Lions Club maintains a bowling facility in the basement of the Nackawic Lions Community Centre and is open from September through June. Public Bowling operates Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. The main hall in the Community Centre is available for rental for Banquets, Weddings, Receptions, and other events with catering available at competitive prices.
