Like many other Italian social clubs, the Oakville Italian Club was created by a group of native Italian immigrants who had recently settled in Oakville and made Canada their new home. The founding members and their families were close, and were always willing to give back to the community and lend a hand to their fellow Paesani when they needed help.

The building has been updated with new washrooms and a full kitchen the adjacent park has a playground, disc golf course and pickleball courts. The building is currently being used for weddings, banquets, birthday parties, meetings and reunions.
