For events over 125 people, you must fill out a Special Event Application Form rather than the facility booking form.

Victoria Community Hall is a large, open-plan facility located in Victoria Park. We offer registered and drop-in programs for all ages, kids camps, outdoor programs and more. Victoria Community Hall is a great space to rent out for family gatherings, meetings and special events.

Victoria Hall is a recognized landmark in the Village and host to many community events throughout the year. The hall is also available to the public to rent for special occasions at a minimal rental fee. This historical building has seen many renovations over the years, the drop ceiling was removed to uncover a beautiful barrel-vaulted wood ceiling. The previously boarded up circular window was refurbished and several of the broken stained glass panels were replaced.

The View Royal Community Hall is just over 1000 sq ft and includes a ramp entrance, kitchen and two single occupancy restrooms. Our open and inviting space can accommodate many different events, from dances to small banquets. Our capacity is up to 50 seated, or 115 standing room.

The Viking Rentals Centre is a multi-purpose event venue that has meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen, a covered patio, ample parking, a senior’s centre, and a 10,000 square-foot hall that can be divided into four smaller halls.

The upper floor includes additional municipal offices as well as the original Courtroom space, available for rent.

Booking of the complete facility gives the user exclusive use of the Main Hall, Court Room, Club Room and Kitchen for the booking period. Portions of the Hall are available at different rates including 1/2 day rates. Many events will only need to book the Main Hall and Kitchen for 1/2 day (6 hours) each, which is more cost-effective than booking the complete facility.

The hall features: a hardwood dance floor, fully equipped kitchen, bar area, stage with sound system and ceiling mounted projector screen, adjustable lighting, air conditioning, ample parking and is wheelchair accessible. Groups have the flexibility to use their own caterers and supply liquor themselves (with the correct SLGA permit). The kitchen is equipped with two ovens and eight stove top burners, a microwave, a proofing oven, one refrigerator, a freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, and urns and a large beverage cooler in the bar area.

The Melbourne Community Centre is a vibrant hub in Arcadia featuring Chase the Ace nights and cribbage games. This accessible venue hosts seasonal yard sales and community dinners, serving as a primary gathering spot for Yarmouth District residents.
